I’ve learnt so much from the KORA team and all of the other people and institutions that I’ve met up with in and around Bern. Everyone has given their time freely and enthusiastically. Though, I would like to give a very special thank you to Urs and Christine with whom I’ve stayed this past week. They have welcomed me into their home and have given me so much advice with my project, for which I will be eternally grateful. My Winston Churchill Fellowship project would simply not have been anywhere near as fruitful without their assistance. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the support of the co-chairs of the IUCN Cat Specialist Group.

My bags are packed and it’s off to Zurich via tram and train to continue with the final travel chapter of my fellowship journey.
